The production of “Jest A Second!” has rescheduled dates of November 17th & 18th!

Our opening production is a comedy about a Jewish family gathering to celebrate the birthday of its matriarch, Miriam.

Miriam's adult daughter, Sarah, is expecting a baby any day now, and Miriam's adult son, Joel is trying to work up the courage to tell his parents that he is gay. Who will "come out" first.

IMPORTANT CHANGE IN

SHABBAT SITTER SERVICE!

sitter_service.png

Adath Jeshurun has been pleased to provide complimentary Shabbat Sitter Service every week for many years!

Currently, fewer families are utilizing Shabbat Sitter Service.  In order to be responsible with congregational funds, we are making some changes.

Shabbat Sitter Service will be provided only if advance reservations are made.  Sitter service will remain complimentary, and is offered for children six weeks old through grade 2. Parents of children using sitter service must remain in the synagogue the entire time that sitter service is being used.

AJ will continue to provide complimentary Sitter Service on days when Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremonies are scheduled, and reservations are not needed for these Saturdays.

In order for Adath Jeshurun to schedule childcare workers, reservations must be received by noon on the Wednesday prior to the Shabbat when reservations are needed.

Reservations can easily be made by registering here or by calling the AJ office at 458-5359.
