Brown Bag Blessings, AJ’s new community outreach program, will provide simple sack lunches to those in need in our community. Are you a master PB&J maker? We’d be delighted to have you! Never wielded a wad of PB onto bread? No worries, let us show you how it’s done!
Join us on Sunday, January 14th at Adath Jeshurun from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a Brown Bag Blessings Packing Party!
The January Brown Bags will serve homeless men, women, and children in Bullitt County through a mobile shelter organization called Room in the Inn. Bullitt County is a community completely void of permanent homeless shelters. Room in the Inn provides transportation for 15 to 20 families per night to one of their 40 partnering pop-up shelter locations.
There is no cost to participate, however, participants are encouraged to contribute food for the contents of the brown bags. Participants can elect to purchase and bring food supplies to the event or make a financial contribution to support the purchase of supplies for the event.
