Brown Bag Blessings will provide simple sack lunches to those in need in our community. Are you a master PB&J maker? We’d be delighted to have you! Never wielded a wad of PB onto bread? No worries, let us show you how it’s done!
Join us on Sunday, April 15th at Adath Jeshurun from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a Brown Bag Blessings Packing Party!
This Tikkun-Olam driven event will be sponsored by Carly Schramko, Jack Kaplin, and Julia Geer as a part of their mitzvah project. The April Brown Bags will be donated to “The Forgotten Louisville”, an organization who serves weekly meals our local homeless men and women. Rabbi Robert Slosberg and the three b’nai mitzvah students along with “The Forgotten Louisville” volunteers will be distributing the Brown Bag Blessings to the homeless immediately after our packing party.
- Students, parents, grandparents and friends of all ages are invited to support this community outreach program.
- There is no cost to participate and supplies for the April Brown Bag Blessings will be provided by our b’nai mitzvah sponsors.
